UUID v4 and v7, ULID and nanoid generator with snowflake decoder

Picking an ID format

UUID v7 and ULID start with a millisecond timestamp, so new rows land at the end of a B-tree index. Prefer them for primary keys.
UUID v4 reveals nothing about when it was made. Use it when creation time should stay private.
For idempotency keys on retried API calls, generate the key once per logical operation and reuse it on every retry.
IDs are not secrets. For tokens use the token helper, which provides at least 128 bits of randomness.
